    Banyan Global is recruiting a full-time Program Manager for an upcoming USAID regional, economic growth project in Eastern Europe and Eurasia to be based in our Washington, DC office.  The purpose of this project is to promote broad-based, inclusive and sustainable economic growth in Eastern and Central Europe and the Caucuses through greater intraregional economic integration and harmonization in the region and with other markets.


    • Provide management oversight to project operations.
    • Assist the COP to manage and implement all aspects of the project including technical, administrative, management, budgetary, and operational.
    • Assist in designing and overseeing the technical content and implementation of trainings and workshops in Eastern Europe or Eurasia.
    • Serve as a point of contact with USAID and host country government counterparts for project activities and deliverables.
    • Manage partner and sub-contractor relations.
    • Support the development of the project’s annual work plan and oversee its implementation.
    • Lead recruitment for project’s technical consultants and oversee their activities and submission of high-quality deliverables.
    • Travel to the region when required.
    • Oversee project budget and administration.
    • Produce all project reports and respond to USAID requests for information related to the project.
    • Ensure quality control on all project activities.


    • Five years of experience working on USAID-funded programs with increasing levels of responsibility.
    • Working knowledge and experience implementing USAID or other donor funded projects. Knowledge of USAID regulations and contracting procedures.
    • Ability to produce project documents, including annual work plans and annual reports, as well as newsletters and communication materials.
    • Experience in preparing budgets, tracking expenditures, preparing technical Scopes of Work.
    • Strong written and oral communications skills.
    • Exposure and understanding of competitiveness, trade promotion, economic policy reform, and/or financial sector reform projects.
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, law, or an area relevant.
