  • Overview

Banyan Global is a women-owned and managed international development consulting firm based in Washington, DC with staff working in a number of countries across the world. Banyan Global operates within six practice areas: youth, health, finance and investment, enterprise development, gender, and monitoring, evaluation and learning.

Banyan Global provides cross-sectoral youth technical expertise to build the assets and skills of youth. Banyan Global’s Positive Youth Development approach connects youth with their families, schools and communities to better navigate the opportunities, risks, and challenges of adolescence and young adulthood – especially in areas that present high risk of insecurity, crime, and violence. To ensure our work is appropriate to the needs of young people, we target and design our programming to be suitable for each age and socio-economic condition of the target population.  Our workforce development and enterprise programs works closely with the private sector which results in a strong market driven philosophy and approach, resulting in diverse and context-specific training, mentoring and job insertion pathways.
