USAID/Malawi has tasked L2P to conduct the final performance evaluation of its Feed the Future (FtF) Malawi Agricultural Diversification (AgDiv) Activity, which was implemented by the Palladium Group from 2016 to 2023.
The primary purpose of this final performance evaluation (FPE) is to assess the extent to which the AgDiv Activity achieved its five objectives: (i) inclusive growth of agricultural incomes and employment, (ii) strengthening the resiliency of smallholder farming systems, (iii) improving nutritional status of women and children, (iv) empowering women, and (v) advancing the Country Development and Cooperation Strategy (CDCS) priorities for integration. The primary audience for the AgDiv final performance evaluation will be the USAID/Malawi Sustainable Economic Growth (SEG) office and Growth Pole implementing partners.
Banyan Global seeks a Statistician with advanced quantitative analysis skills to undertake a meta-analysis of secondary and primary data from AgDiv Annual Beneficiary Surveys and produce outputs for use in the AgDiv FPE report. This is a remote consultancy. The consultant will work closely with the designated L2P technical lead and L2P Chief of Party to select variables of interest for this analysis and to develop a report.

The estimated consultancy level of effort (LOE) is 25 days. The consultant is expected to work remotely throughout the period of the assignment. The position is open to international consultants and local Malawian citizens.
