Banyan Global works seamlessly across five practice areas: health, economic growth, gender, youth, and monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL). This position is based in Washington, DC and candidates must either have US citizenship, permanent residency, or a work permit. Banyan Global currently operates on a hybrid schedule. This position may be filled at either the Program Coordinator I or Program Coordinator II level, depending on the final candidate’s experience.
The Program Coordinator will provide financial, administrative, and programmatic support to a fast-paced and diverse portfolio of projects. The successful candidate will be organized, able to meet deadlines, proactive, open-minded, and eager to expand his or her programmatic experience in international development. S/he will work closely with team members to make sure activities are running smoothly and efficiently, including supporting recruitment, procurement, financial monitoring, logistics, and contractual compliance. Additionally, the Program Coordinator will support quality deliverables and communications through research, editing, and formatting.
