Banyan Global is seeking a dedicated and experienced Center Director to provide strategic leadership, management, and oversight of a Job Corps campus in New Hampshire. The Center Director is responsible for the administration of all academic, career technical, career success skills, and career development training programs, as well as related support services. This role requires strong leadership, operational management, and community engagement skills to integrate center operations with local workforce development systems, employers, and community-based organizations. This position is open to qualified applicants in the United States and is contingent upon funding.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all operational aspects of the Job Corps Center, including student enrollment, academic and technical training, career counseling, and post-program placement.
  • Provide oversight of the academic, career technical, career success, employability, and independent living skills training to help students transition into the workforce.
  • Supervise the provision of basic health care, counseling, and other support services in accordance with Job Corps guidelines.
  • Implement strategies that support long-term student success, ensuring that graduates remain attached to the labor market or pursue further educational opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with local businesses, workforce development agencies, and community organizations to enhance job placement and career training opportunities.
  • Oversee Outreach and Admissions services, ensuring a minimum of 370 students enroll annually in the Job Corps program.
  • Monitor program performance and compliance, ensuring alignment with Job Corps’ mission, policies, and contractual obligations.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise center staff, fostering a professional and mission-driven team environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (education, program management, business administration, social work, or a related discipline).
  • Five years of experience in program management and direction, preferably in education, workforce development, or social services.
  • Demonstrated experience working with youth and young adults, particularly in educational or career development settings.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and strategic planning skills to manage complex program operations effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations and policies related to workforce development programs.
  • Experience managing budgets, staff, and operational procedures within a structured program.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with government-funded programs such as Job Corps, workforce development initiatives, or youth employment programs.
  • Familiarity with community partnerships, employer engagement, and workforce development strategies.
  • Strong data-driven decision-making skills with experience in program evaluation and reporting.
