Banyan Global is seeking an experienced consultant with both knowledge and experience pricing and navigating the compliance side of DFAT to assist Banyan Global to prepare for upcoming proposals. 

• Provide robust technical assistance to the Banyan Global cost preparer and proposal manager  

• Review the RFT and provide support including: 

• Explain and guide the due diligence and compliance requirements process (registration and tender conformity guidance) as part of the preparation of the bid for submission  

• Provide hands-on instructions and advice regarding the fee structure (i.e. how a contractor costs the RFT, including but not limited to, management fees, personnel costs, operational costs and program activity costs) 

• Provide guidance on demonstrating DFAT value for money principles 

• Support drafting of all Parts of Tenderer Response Schedule 2 

• Support competition of Tender Price, Resource, Management Fee Payment Breakdown tables as part of Schedule 1B. 

• Support with developing a draft cost proposal with multiple iterations and explain nuances related to both competitiveness and profitability  

• Join team meeting(s) to answer questions related to feedback provided or other program details

The consultant must have thorough experience preparing similar cost proposals in both complexity and size for DFAT and an extensive understanding of DFAT operations and their terms and conditions.
